I’ve been unwell for a while, voice going for long periods and I’ve always said that it’s because I don’t have the energy to make the sounds / get the air out rather than throat problems but been treated with loads of antibiotics (been going on for years).
I’ve had long covid for over two years, fatigue, brain fog, pain, breathlessness etc. over the last few months I’ve had pins and needles, internal tremors, near constant headaches, eye sight has changed dramatically etc and was referred for a scan. Events overtook me at the weekend and I ended up being blue lighted to hospital as I lost muscle control, couldn’t speak or open eyes. CAT scan was clear, GP is now saying they think none of what’s been happening is Long Covid and making an urgent referral to neuro. She hasn’t said so much but I suspect she wants to check for MS.
Any words of advice about whether I’m barking up the wrong tree and how long it might take to get a neuro appt?
