I had marginal zone non-Hodgkin lymphoma 8 years ago and had treatment with rituximab and immunotherapy. I was told in February 2018 I was in remission from it. In 2021 after a CT scan I was told I had shadows in my lungs. This was monitored with further ct scans as I have Bronchiectasis too. After initially saying the shadows were from bronchiectasis scarring, a couple of years ago I was told it might be adenocarcinoma, and this was again monitored. Last December I had a PET scan to ascertain what the shadows were. This showed that the lymphoma was back in multiple places. They are still not sure if it is adenocarcinoma in my lungs or could be lymphoma. I won’t know until maybe a ct scan in April or a further PET scan in 6 months time. Fortunately, as I couldn’t have the same chemo again, I have been started on Zanubrutinib, a cancer growth inhibitor. I will take this long term. I am finding the side effects manageable, but it is making some ms symptoms worse, especially fatigue and muscle pain. (The chemo last time certainly made my ms worse.)
Does anyone else have any experience of this?
