Do any of you wonderful people deal with the annoyance and pain of spasms.
I suffer most evenings and throughout the night with spasms in my left arm and leg . I cant remember the last time I was not up for hours in the middle of the night with the pain. What drugs if any do you guys take to help

Magnesium did the trick for me and no more restless legs. It’s a beneficial mineral and no harm in trying.

The most common prescription for MS spasms is for [Baclofen](https://bnf.nice.org.uk/drugs/baclofen/). An alternative could be [Tizanidine](https://bnf.nice.org.uk/drugs/tizanidine/).

I’m currently being reviewed for a swap, or at least a trial of Tizanidine: both drugs have side effects but perhaps the side effects for Tizanidine will suit my metabolism better than Baclofen.
