Just back from visiting my son in Houston. I’m in a wheelchair and have motorized Klaxon attachment. drove the klaxon to the plane, then transferred to aisle chair. Klaxon was waiting for me at plane door after both journeys. I can’t walk but can stand. Staff used aisle chair to take me to the loo a couple of times. Staff were absolutely excellent. 10 hour flights both ways. Compression socks prevented any swelling.
and I saw my son play two football matches (I cannot call it soccer) and scoring the winning goal so that they won their league. if I wasn’t in a wheelchair, I would have done a pitch invasion celebration.
so glad we went.
