Hi, Does anyone suffer from sciatica? I had this about 18mths ago, and it was very pain. Suffered with it 17yrs ago when I was pregnant… However this past few weeks it has come back, very painful lower back, bum cheek and all down my L leg.I dont know if I should tell my GP when I c her next week? Feel like I am always moaning about something.
Even walking short distance I have to keep stopping because it hurts to walk. I also find if I have some energy I will do some housework, god do I suffer after wards…

Hi, yeh, had it in the past. Very painful and debilatating too.
Yes, do mention it to GP, seeing as you are going anyway.
Scitica is a stubborn so and so, that can hang around for ages.
BUT my hubby cured his by getting a better back cushion, for driving.
Some of my lower back pains have been helped by different support cushions.

We have a cheap shop near us called Home and Bargain and I picked up a black netted support which I use everywhere I go, its wonderful, it cost £1.50 My Grand children use it as a hat as on one side it has elastic strips, we are talking of dressing it up as an Easter bonnet as you could easily push flowers into the black netting, as long as they give back to me I do not mind. It just push’s into the base of any chair or car seat, it gives support. picture of one below, hope it helps you.

Hi again. I had one of those back supports that Medion recommends. Yes, they are good, but after a while they lose their flexibility. But at £1.50, you could buy a few, eh? I paid £5.99 for mine from Asda. It was a JML product.
