Hi, I’ve been experiencing spasms in my right leg for the last 6 weeks. Started with one every 3/4 days and now 15/20 per day leaving me afraid to go anywhere, walk normally or drive my car. I spent all last week in hospital waiting mri. 6 new lesions have been found since last mri 4 years ago and I’ve been sent home to wait in a change in treatment. Has anyone suffered like this and how do you manage? Do the spasms go away?
Hi, welcome! I found baclofen good for reducing spasms. But watch the dosage ie too much can cause too much weakness and falls.

Thank you.
Are the spasms permanent? Or are there exercises that can help?
I find magnesium dampens down spasms and worth trying. A bit of stretching might help too.
