been put on a large dose of steriods to counter a severe asthma attack and chest infection and its messing with my head. That and everything slowly sinking in. Tried to find a forum for young dementia sufferers but all the forums seem geared towards the carer, and there are so few epople of my age with it that there simply isnt one out there for me.

GP rang last night (before I ended up in walk in with asthma) saying she wants to see me after she got the hospital letter but it wont be for a few weeks. Im in limbo til then. I need someone told my hand

I understand that your anxious and trying to reach out but don’t worry about looking for support groups yet, it’s too early. :slight_smile: You need to do wait until you see the specialist, these are the people who will guide you to the best support for your needs I know your scared but rely on the people close to you and worry about finding other forums another time :slight_smile: I wish I could put my arms round you and hold you safe.
