re assessment

I have seen this topic on other sites, ut I was wondering, if youve been awarded standard rate of daily living and a year later your condition deteriorates, is it worth telling them? I know its classed as a new claim and you have to start from the beginning, but I wondered if anyone had experience of doing this and how did it go? |I really don’t know if I can cope with the thought of going through all that again and if you get it taken from you, you have to appeal and then go to tribunal etc, for people with anxiety/ depression this is hell? thanks in advance

Hi

You will go through a Re-assessment, similar to a new claim. Have a look at www.gov.uk or benefitsandwork to score yourself and see whether you consider you score 12 points or more.

i was on nil care and high mobility DLA when I applied for PIP as I was worse. I got high mobility & standard daily living so it was ok & what I expected. It can go down but you ask for a DWP reconsideration before appealing.

It really is a case of your decision.

I would get help from CAB if applying
