If you put radar key into google you’ll find a ton of places that sell it. I always keep mine in my pocket so I can get in the loo in a hurry if I need to.
I ordered mine from the Radar website. I seem to remember there being a choice of key size, depending on how well you can grasp. I ordered 3 but I think you’re encouraged to order more if you’re forgetful. Heater
Order a key from RADAR website , they’re a charity and will get the money, it’s about £4.50. The key is quite big so you shouldn’t loose it. You can also buy a book that tells you where all the toilets are.
If you order them from Amazon or ebay someone else is getting the money.
I found that once I had the key I’d really noticed all the disabled loos and now I’m an expert in my local area. It’s like a game trying toi spot them!
I know of two restaurants that have the loos upstairs but disabled ones downstairs that use the RADAR key (expect it’s so people dont just come in off the street and use the loo).
Most public toilets have a disabled one using the RADAR key.
They should advertise this key more. I have a close friend, whose had trouble with moblility for a long time and she knew nothing about this key…she’s usually up on most things.
In most public toilets, the disbled toilet is in the RADAR scheme. It cuts down on casual vandalism as you have to know where to go to get a key. I agree, though, it could be better advertised to those who need it.
This thread has reminded me that I used to have a key - got it some years ago as a result of other health issues. I ought to see if I can find it so that if/when I start to need it, I know where it is.
