Quick update.

Hear nothing from the hospital since the appointment on the 25 July, no letter no results no MRI.
Thought I was seeing a consultant but i think now I saw a doctor to do tests etc. My mind was all over the place even with notes.

So i gave the hospital a call today

I do have another appointment booked with the consultant on the 5 0ct but no idea what for.

I was told the doctor i saw on the 25 july is still reviewing my blood test!

I think the plan was to have another MRI and then review but chased MRI team and I am not down for another MRI !

Hopefully, i can have another MRI before the 5 Oct or maybe a waste of seeing a consultant.

I have only been on the journey since April 22 seems much longer than that.

Honestly, I don’t think you can read anything into appointment dates.

I have been on a number of urgent referrals, one of which the doctor said ‘urgent’ doesn’t mean much. For example an urgent gastrointestinal referral made in February… I was contacted in July no face to face, just to go straight for a manometer and 24 hour PH test, this happened last week 2nd July.

If you can, just go with the flow, if you have ms a month or two in the bigger scheme of things doesn’t add up to much.

Thanks for keep sharing your journey. So many post once, and I always wonder how they are getting in.

Its not a group anybody wishes to be in of course, but I have had a lot of support here.

until something like this happens its hard to understand how slow the NHS can be. And i believe i have been one of the lucky ones.
