Post Cladribine pregnancy?

Hi there,

Im newly diagnosed. I understand you must not get pregnant during an 18 month window of using cladribine (ie only safe after 6 month wash out period).

Has anyone used cladribine and then successfully got pregnant after the wash out period ie after 18 months?

Its a new drug so not much information out there on this.

Really keen to hear from those thay have.

Hello,

I understand from a few posts I have seen on FB that, provided you are six months post year 2, there have been no issues with getting pregnant.

There are a few people who have waited until six months after year 1, got pregnant, and delayed the start of year 2 but that would need to be discussed with your neurologist.
