Positive Spin

Hi folks, hope everyone is keeping as well as can be and are living their best life, even with MS.

Just thought I’d share some positivity. Whilst at Disneyland Paris with my grandkids recently, I walked 61k, yes, 61k, steps in four days. I’m 8 years post RRMS diagnosis and on Tecfidera.

Sore thighs, legs and a bit stiff in the mornings but overall was good fun.

Just thought I’d share. Every big journey starts with a small step. So if you can, go for it.

That is such an amazing achievement! 61k steps in four days is impressive for anyone, and it is really heartening to hear how well you are doing. Thank you for sharing such a positive update; it is a great reminder for all of us to keep pushing forward when we can.

For some context, 2 episodes of ON 8 years ago and NEIDA MRIs annually ever since. Zero score on EDSS. No real symptoms to speak of.

Appreciate I’m ‘currently’ very lucky, but I’m also no gym rat, a bit overweight and in my late 50s. Non smoker/drinker.
