lf you’ve let your body sag,
Pilates ought to be your bag,
Results are great and outlay small,
On your back in the village hall.
This was on a card l received - its one of Pam Ayres. And it has a cartoon of a lady - on her back with her legs over a fit-ball.

[/quote] Carole, l have been having one-to-one Pilates sessions - once a fortnight [because of cost!] - lts made such a difference to me - l am a ‘New Woman’. l have done Yoga/Pilates for years - in a class. But after hip and knee replacement ops l was left very weak.
lf you cant get up and down off the floor - then do those exercises on your bed. The standing ones l started off holding on to my rollator - but now can stand quite strongly.
Here is another couple of Pam Ayres poems.
You have to dance while you are able,
Do the Can-Can on the table,
Grab each chance that flashes past,
For life goes by so deadly fast.
l bought myself a Wonderbra for fourteen ninety-nine,
lt looked so good on the model girl’s chest and l hoped it would on mine.
l took it from the packaging and when l tried it on,
The Wonderbra restored to me all l believed had gone.
