Hi there Everyone - I’m new to this forum but was diagnosed with MS in 2006/7.
I’ve had several relapses in my time but am experiencing quite a long one at the moment which has lasted about 6 weeks. I’m waiting for the results of a recent brain scan, underwent the 3 days of steroids last week and currently have paresthesia in both legs. Just wondering if there was anyone out there who could shed some light on when this may end? I would like to believe there is light at the end of the tunnel so to speak x

No idea, I’m afraid. Some symptoms recede so much that you barely notice them and some leave obvious damage. For what it’s worth, I have gone into 3 day steroid infusions in despair, convinced that this time I will never regain function. only to find near-miraculous improvements. Other times, not quite so great. Only time will tell, I’m afraid. But those steroids are powerful drugs and they can really throw a bucket of cold water on inflammation, and that has to be good.
Thank you so much - just nice to touch base with someone who has experience of similar I just needed to know that it will hopefully end although I think it subsided a bit today. It’s nice to talk to someone in the same boat - please don’t hesitate to contact me
