Power, authority and wealth give some people the right to think they are invincible. Fear, embarrassment and a lack of belief allow them to get away with it. All the recent witch hunts concerning MPs’ expenses, press bribery, NHS nonsense and savileisms etc are just what we need. If Private Eye broke out of their niche following and became a tabloid there would surely be many mre revelations-particularly with their “Rotten Boroughs”!

Good wishes, Steve
