One muscle ?

Can MS effect just one muscle. For example if you get weakness in your arm can it not be the entire arm but just a part of it ?

hi siyman

i think that muscles work in pairs so maybe you are right.

bladder muscles work together in a complicated way which explains my bladder problems!

sorry to say that it’s all too much for my brain to take in and retain.

interesting though.

i think it very likely that MS can affect only those parts being innervated by a very distinct and limited bundle of neurons

Maybe the nerves going to either muscle or soft tissue.no expert I usually rub in v o l t a r o l 12

Hour gel.it does help.

Anybody out there having the same trouble me taking delivery of tecfidera using Alcura? Everything is fine until awaiting 3rd delivery after 12 weeks. End up having to chase it up myself phoning Alcura and MS NURSE at the Royal Stoke hospital? Sometimes gets as close as having just 2 days supply left. Been on tecfidera for over 18 months now and still no improvement

you have tagged onto another post so if you don’t get many replies, start a new post.

i have had no problems with alcura myself.

i’m under salford royal.

i take it you are having the 3 monthly appointments with ms nurse to monitor your lymphocytes?

if so why not tell your nurse face to face?

Yes,mention it every time. Think they play the blame game, but think the fault lies with Stoke Royal.Shall be seeing my nurse next month and try and sort for once and all. Thanks

Here in Birmingham the QE hospital swapped early last year from Alcura to Healthcare at Home because they had so much trouble with late deliveries and constantly having to chase them up.

Not just me then, shall have to see. Although always very polite and apologetic still doesn’t fill me with confidence. Thinking the fault lies more at the feet of the Royal Stoke Hospital. Shall iron out with my ms nurse next month
