This has nothing to do with MS; but I was just wondering why people with true talent like Michael Jackson to Caroline and the queens are strange in their private lives.
Scissor Sisters; Elton John; George Michael; Sam Smith plus a mired of others are gay and that is normal but MJ and Caroline who were/are extremely talented seem to go one step further
Just wondering if anyone had any comments.

I think you mean Christine and the Queens Christine and the Queens - Wikipedia. And I think she (Heloise Letissier) defines herself as ‘pansexual’, and by this she is asserting that she is ‘gender blind’ Pansexuality - Wikipedia
Many people would perhaps find this attitude to be unusual, but not ‘strange’. I think her art is definitely related to her pansexuality and personally, I absolutely respect and admire both her gender politics and her artistry.
Michael Jackson on the other hand, was possibly more than ‘strange’ in his private life. Some believe that he was a paedophile in terms of sexuality, even if he did not act on that paedophilia, although the payments he made in response to accusations seem to rather support certain viewpoints. He was of course rather odd in ways that were not connected to sexuality as well.
I consider that classifying the private lives of two very different artists together in the way you have is rather offensive. I know that you have no intention of being so, but when you conflate the two you are quite simply wrong.

As regards MJ, I dont believe he was a paedophile…just a mixed up man who had the strangest of childhoods with no love.
As an artist, of course, he was magnificent.

Thank you Sue for pointing out my error in Caroline/Christine thing. I don’t know if it’s an MS thing but I do make so simple mistakes; sometimes.
Sorry if I offended you but tough! I think there is similarity not in their personal lives but in the way they perform.

It’s not a problem, I was trying to point out the difference between your two examples, not to tell you off for offending me. As I hope you know, I have every respect for you.
I think both Christine and the Queens and MJ are/were massively talented. It’s only conflating their difference from the mainstream aka their ‘strangeness’ that made me feel rather personally affected.
