Not being able to move my left leg

I scared myself today and I wondered if this has happened to anyone else?

So I was out at a meeting with work, when the meeting finished I went to get into my car. My left side is weaker than my right and I feel unsteady of my feet but today I went to step into my car and I felt like my brain was telling my left leg to lift up into the car but it wouldn’t do it. I altered my footing with my right foot and then sat bum first into the car then moved both my legs in. I hesitantly drove home with no problems.

It’s not happened again but it’s really worried me it was surreal. I am next due to see my neurologist next week x

Sounds like you need an auto transmission! My walking sounds much much worse than yours but because my right leg is largely unaffected, I can still drive.

Hope it sorts itself out. Are you RRMS?

Thank you for replying.

My right is the same as you it’s my left that is weaker.

My neurologist said initially RRMS but they are now questioning PPMS. I had further scans for comparison and are back next Wednesday for the results and conversation.

That sounds scary. Definitely one to mention to the neurologist.
