I was recently diagnosed with MS. I am 61 at the end of this month. I am waiting for my first appointment with a MS specialist. Are there any other males in a similar situation or others who have started treatment?
Hi, I was diagnosed at 57, am now 61. I went straight on to Cladribine (mavenclad) and haven’t had any Lesions since. Everyone is different (part of the magic of MS) so I would say wait and see what your consultant / MS specialist advises / says.

Hi @robertjamesyoung I’m not quite sure what you mean by ‘in a similar situation’ but I was diagnosed in my early 50s and now 71. I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting and started on Avonex which I’m still using.
Thank you for your reply. By similar situation I meant an older male or an older male recently diagnosed so it is good to hear from an older male. I still don’t know which type of MS I have and have not had an appointment with an MS specialist.
