Hi All, just been diagnosed. Usually a fit and active 57 year old male. I cycled over 4000 thousand miles last year. This year, I’ve done 40 and nothing since January. Hospital visits to come. MS manifests as mostly balance issues. Sometimes speech can sound a bit drunk [i don’t drink]. Just saying hi. I hope to get medication then get back on my bike! I’d even buy an adult trike - I can go places, I’d never usually see. Eternally optimistic

Hi what were your initial symptoms? I woke up 3 weeks ago and I was numb from the waist down?

Hi Muller, Thanks for your kind words. The trike isn’t bought yet. The doctor told me to wait for the diagnosis. So, I held firm. I’ve to see aa specialist on June 4th. After this, I expect tto “tricycle” upon purchase.
Hi, loss of balance and occasionally slurred speech. Sometimes my typing suffers. I miss letters. It is anoyngin! lol. I hope your numbness improves upon treatment.
