Hello … I had a brain and spine MRI 3 weeks ago, got a bit of feedback from the GP. Am diagnosed with MS last year. 3 or 4 new lesions in my brain they say. One enhanced vividly apparently with contrast I had an ear infection 3 weeks before this scan, both ears were full of fluid etc. Going to ask my neuro in a few weeks at my follow up if this infection could have caused the new lesions. I had some nerve pain that is nearly gone now but it didn’t cause a relapse as such I would say.
Has anyone else experienced getting new lesions from an infection ? thanx
