Neurologist letter doesn't make sense

Hi all I am new here, it was suggested to me to join somewhere to ask questions I kept saying I couldn’t as don’t have a diagnosis so please tell me if I am in the wrong place.

I have had strange tingling numbing feelings in my left hand side since before christmas took a while but GP referred to neurology eventually. I saw the neurologist and he mentioned looking for MS first time I had even considered this. I went for an MRI and he told me over the phone he found what he was looking for but wanted to do a contrast MRI. I have had that now as well but the letter I have recieved really confused me.

Can anybody help at all?

Suggest you ring your doctor for clarification. Keep a record of your symptoms and any changes you are aware of as this will help you ask any questions you may have. You may be able to arrange a telephone consultation as you only require clarification at this point. The neuro clinics usually have an M S nurse and theyare usually easier to reach
