On July 2nd 2012 those affected by MS will have a new avenue of support in Colchester.
Josephs Court an MS Centre of Excellence opens its doors for the first time at Hythe Quay in Colchester from 10am to 5:30pm and welcomes all those affected to join and use this amazing centre designed specifically for them.
The centre benefits from a state of the art gym containing equipment such as a Balance Trainer and an RT300, one of only 4 available publicly in the UK!
Our resident Physio will help all users start to build strength and rehabilitate through regular classes during the week, including massage therapy in a specific treatment room.
Richard Wright, Centre Manager said: “With the needed input from the MS community Josephs Court can grow to become a vital link for those affected by MS as it’s their suggestions that will guide what events will take place.“
“So please don’t be shy, if you have a skill, interest or talent, come talk to us and we will support you in running a class or event. No idea is a bad idea, whether you are 18 or 80, please do come and see us when we open on July 2nd."
MSRC also offers counselling and advice from onsite staff via telephone, email or face to face. Underpinning the ethos of MSRC is that ‘Life is for Living’ and by access to unbiased information and advice, people affected by MS can come to terms with their condition and find ways to live their lives to the full.
