MS Information Day

Hi all.
I went to the above event yesterday in Huddersfield. It was well attended…about 45 people there.

Sally Snowball led it…wonderful name eh? Thinking of re-naming my white toy poodle!!

We were told how much progress medical innovations have come with specific DMDs and what research is going on now.

There was a presentation from a group who adapt cycles for disabled people. They do cycling holidays.

We also had a good free lunch!

I’m going to ask about a drug called cladibrine, for my hand, when I speak to my MS Nurse this week.

Hi Bouds

Sounds like an interesting event and when you think about it, years ago when we started on the MS road there were no drugs other than steroids to try. So yes it has come on in leaps and bounds now, which is good.

If there is any chance of that drug helping you, you go for it Poll.

Hope your hubby is better than he was, both take care.

Thanks Pam. That drug I was iinterested in, is for RRMS…so, nil points!

Hi, Have a look at a trial ChariotMS. Using Cladribine to treat people with advanced MS in the hope of helping hands/arms. Apparently no age limit.
