I was diagnosed with MS in 1995 and I was doing reasonably well. Then in the summer 9f 2023 I became a lot worse. I developed tremors, struggled to walk, lost balance and had hallucinations. After a series of falls I was admitted to hospital and after examinations and tests I was diagnosed with Parkinsons. I questioned the diagnosis and said that my MS is getting worse. I was told that I definitely had Parkinsons. I then questioned the original MS diagnoses and asked if it had been Parkinsons from the start. I was told that I have both conditions. Is there anyone else on here with both?

Morning @march95, I have SPMS and that’s bad enough, I’m sorry to read that you’ve got both, I’ve replied to show support as there’s nothing else I can say except take good care.

That’s really bad luck - I am sorry. It’s always tough when one has two different conditions to treat. I hope that you get the specialists to talk to each other. At least they’re in the same department!
