I had my MRI last Thursday and the not knowing is making me so ill at the mo… Is it wrong to ring and ask for results?
Hi, in my experience (had 4 MRIs) it takes quite a bit longer than a week to get MRI results.
This is partly because a consultant radiologist has to prepare a report for a neurologist. Then an appointment has to be made to see a neuro.
Then the reports are full of medi-speak, so asking for them over the phone, may be impractical.
I fully understand your worries and impatience…I am exactly the same!

Worth a try but a lot of times won’t give you info over the phone. I got my results via my Gp, took about 3 weeks. They might be able to tell you if results have gone to your Gp or an appointment to discuss them. Good luck
MRI results are inconclusive… Have to go in for some other test So no further forward really… 
Might be able to sleep tonight now though.
