Two quick questions about MRI if anyone knows based on their own experiences…
A private scan I had returned images labelled 5mm thk (which I assume is the slice thickness) and then 6.3 dist…any ideas what this bit means?
Also does anyone know what slice thickness the NHS would generally use on their MRIs nowadays? It was a nicer machine than the one I had a scan on on 2019 and when I commented the technician said they had recently got new scanners, so I’m guessing maybe is a 3T.
