MRI results wait.

Hi everyone,

My mobility issues are currently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy (symptomatic) , i have b12 injections, high blood pressure and vitamin d.

I spoke to my GP about concerning new symptoms, feelomg like i am on fire,like the worst sunburn imaginable just randomly occuring ,day night,hot day,cold day,in bed etc etc i also have mobility issues putside the widespread pain of fibrmyalgia. I also have ocular migraines.

Rheumatologist saw me as was under the pain clinic. He referred me to a neurologist, git an appointment with the neurologist within 1 month, had my mri 4 days after seeing him …

And now i wait .it has been 3 weeks since my scan. The neurologist had said he suspects ms after examining me and some tests in the clinic.

Does it mean i dont have ms as they haven’t got back to me yet ?

I expect it is just the usual delay, someone on holiday, too much work and not enough staff etc. 3 weeks to get a report through from the radiologist is not uncommon, and then it needs to be looked at by the neurologist. You can’t read anything in to the time it takes to get your results back. Hopefully it is not MS though.
