They’re usually prescribed for anxiety and/or depression. Do you consider you are anxious or depressed - other than the obvious concerns about possible serious illness?
If the answer’s yes, then they may help, but no drug works the same for all people. What one person swears by, another may hate, so really, the only way to find out if they’re right for you is just to try.
Although some anti-depressants are also prescribed in lower doses for pain relief, I don’t think escitalopram is one of them, so I wouldn’t expect any effect on general MS-like symptoms. Only on depression and anxiety, IF you have them.
