Managing MS privately

Some of us are having problems with our DMTs that could have serious implications and have had new symptoms from a relapse and have no date to see a consultant or an MRI.
As you asked, my personal suggestion would be to carry on living your life and put MS on the back burner. Educate yourself and realise that MS is for life and not something you can buy your way out of. DMTs are often very expensive. STEM cell therapy is rare in the U.K. but is starting clinical trials and some people have gone abroad to receive it. If I was putting my money on anything I would go for a private Neuro Physiotherapist or other physical therapy as I believe the nhs does not do enough of it. I would leave the DMTs under the nhs as there are cases where MS has been the incorrect diagnosis so the treatment can be too hasty.

You’ve been a great help, thank you :raised_hands:
