I’ve been having an M.S hug j think that’s what’s it’s called for while now how do you get rid of it or deal with it?
I have MS Hug from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed 24/7. I have reached out with so many professionals that have no treatment plan that touches the situation. I’m still on the hunt. Your average neurologist will give you typical baclfen (or related), possibly tell you to follow up with pain management or even therapy. Here’s a ‘heads-up’… DON’T WASTE YOUR EFFORTS ON ANY OF THOSE OPTIONS! I would fly to Australia if there was a ‘workable and viable’ treatment. But so far…NOTHING… And to have this constantly is absolutely maddening (to put it mildly!) Tom
Am I right in thinking that you have been diagnosed with MS?
I have a somewhat different reply to that of tomyelverton. Definitely contact your MS Nurse apart from the importance of keeping her/him informed of new symptoms it is quite possible that some of the treatments will work for you.
I’ve had MS hug but in my experience it only last for a few hours. Have a chat with your Nurse
This might help.
