Is this a relapse or just overthinking things?

I woke up on Saturday with the achiest legs ever. Back of both of my thighs are in a lot of pain, feel quite heavy and it’s difficult to stretch/bend or walk properly. Reminds me of when I used to go to the gym and the feeling the next day of a good hard workout. Unfortunately as of late, my vision/vertigo has been poor so this doesn’t seem to be a likely reason behind this. It hasn’t improved since and I’m now starting to wonder if this is MS rearing its ugly head again.

Any opinions on this at all? I’ve tried walking, having baths over showers and stretching but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions or advice really appreciated x

all i would suggest is you monitor it closely and take note of what it is, where it is, how it changes etc… a diary of complaints.

i personally find writing all this suffering down allows me to look back to gauge whether things are getting better or worse, but also records a time frame for what occurs. all of this can form the basis for a plan of action and may be of use to person in a white coat at some stage.

whether this is an actual relapse… depends on a number of factors. in the first instance, look after yourself. time to promote yourself to royalty! only the best of all things for at least a week!

ì had similar symptoms and put it down to both having a cold and the cold damp weather. have noticed that the weather affects me . hot and humid =wobbly leg , cold and damp =stiff leg and poor eyesight. i have started to chronicle my symptom on the 'patients like me ’ website .
