Intrathecal phenol

Hi everyone, Ive had MS for 21years, been SPMS for 10 years. In that time I’ve tried all the oral meds for spasticity and stiffness, a failed baclofen pump trial, sativex and I’m unable to tolerate any of them. The spasticity management team are now offering me intrathecal phenol as a last resort. I’m in a wheelchair and have very little movement in my legs. My spasticity is very bad and can be painful throughout the day and night. Does anyone have any experience of this treatment? I’d like to have contact with someone who knows what it’s like to have this treatment. Thanks
