Initial MSK Assessment

New diagnosis and before diagnosis

So had my initial MSK assessment. She said weakness in my leg had progressed since 2014. Some symptoms indicate spinal cord or brain involvement, which I also worried about. So she is concerned and would like to do a new MRI (I had lumbar and cervical MRI in 2014 the lumbar was clear and cervical had a slipped disc), but they need to decide how extensive the new MRI will be. They are also discussing if I should be referred to a neurologist or neuro surgeon instead to do the MRI and a further assessment. Which I hope they will do. It be good to get to the bottom of this. Of course I’m concerned it’s MS. But could be other things or they might find nothing and it’s going to be functional…
