I got rid of the stairlift because I was unable to transfer safely and then get stuck in my wheelchair going up in the through floor lift. An exciting day on Friday catheter with the District Nurse and a emergency call out of the lift engineer, he was so good had it sorted in minutes but I had images of sleeping in my wheelchair downstairs. Was I being a bit dramatic?
