Hydration and temperatue advice?

Wondered if anyone had any advice on 2 issues I’m trying to navigate.

My wife has PPMS - our currently biggest challenge is increased levels of fatigue over the last year - today for example she’s been in bed all day, awake for a while here and there, but not active, mostly in and out of sleep.

I have real difficultly trying to get her to drink in any quanity - she doesn’t like water, she’ll drink tea (with splash of oat milk), black decaf coffee, or sugarfree and caffeine free pepsi - but with her being so fatigued, she’ll tend to not drink much, becuase of being sleepy or actually asleep.

I’ve read a lot about how dehydration worsens MS fatigue symptoms.

Been having some success with ordering sachets of sugar-free jelly mix (jello to americans I think?) - and can get her to eat plent of that.

Just wondered if anybody else had any helpful advice or experience of how to get aroudn this problem of her being so fatigued that she doesnt’ drink very much.

And another thing I’ve been reading, is that high temperatures can be bad for MS fatigue - but she feels the cold badly if the temp is too low, and likes to keep the heating up to a higher temperature than most people would probalby set their heating too.

Again, just wondered it anyone has any helful thoughts on any ways to help with that issue.

With the not liking heat, I think that is someone who was tarring all ms sufferers with the same brush, so to speak and as you say, your wife likes it warm: I also know a couple of other people with ms who like it on the warm side too. Funnily enough, they’re both ladies too. Maybe without being sexist about it.. it’s a female thing to like the temperature on the warm side. I’m sure that others will let me know if they’re male and like the temperature on the warmer side, too. Can’t offer anything specific on her drinking sufficient fluids. Maybe just keep on encouraging her to drink as often as you can.
