Here we go again, this heat is killing me, it always does, heat and cold, everything to do with my symptoms has changed and not for the better, I feel so fatigued, pain through the roof, walking and balance, well I don’t do it anymore, life is SH**E, how does it effect you ?

Like you makes no difference whether it’s extreme heat or cold, both makes my ms worse with awful fatigue and pain, so I empathize with you.
Make sure you take plenty of fluid on board Jean and hopefully it will cool down shortly

Hi Pam, ah sorry you’re the same, it’s a right pain isn’t it. I always drink plenty of water and I have an osilating fan going to try and cool me down. for us I really hope it cools down, take care.

It’s way too hot this early in the summer. Nights are warm too. My legs stopped working today I rolled into the house,took about 1 hour to 10ft. Heat just destroys me. Hope it passes soon too

Roll on autumn/winter is what I say (every summer I say this)
Yes this recent hot spell has got me again I don’t mind autumn, but winter effects me too, sometimes to cold, can’t win.

Hello. A late reply but yes heat is a killer 
. I haven’t tried them but I think you can buy cooling vests and hats . Basically things that have lots of small pockets for small ice packs. Apart from that if things get too bad - wet your clothes with water and sit in front of the fan or in a breeze ( but out of the sun). It does work
Hi Hank Dogs, thanks for your reply, yes for the heat I use cold pads and a cold blanket straight for the fridge, also I have a big fan, they just take the edge off, for the cold I use heat blankets, but not too hot and I also use throws, honestly the things we have to do,

Indeed! And I could metaphorically throttle the weather presenters every time they announce with a big cheery smile that it’s going to be hot and sunny
