Everyone with MS should have access to disease modifying treatments (DMTs), no matter where they live. And all NICE approved treatments should be available on the NHS to anyone who’s eligible.

But from what we’re hearing, this isn’t always the case. And in reality, access can be more of a postcode lottery.

We want to draw attention to this problem and call for change. To help us do this, we’d like to speak to people in England or Wales who’ve struggled to access NICE approved DMTs on the NHS. Perhaps you had to wait a long time to start a particular treatment, or you haven’t been able to start it at all.

If this sounds like you, and you’d be open to sharing your story publicly – or at least discussing the possibility – please contact our press team at [pressoffice@mssociety.org.uk](mailto:pressoffice@mssociety.org.uk "mailto:pressoffice@mssociety.org.uk"). Someone will get back to you to set up an initial call.

Please note this specific piece of work is focused on DMTs. We know that some people are also having issues accessing symptom management treatments like fampridine and Sativex. And we’re separately working on raising those issues.

If you need information or support then our MS Help Hub is here for you on 0808 800 8000 and [helphub@mssociety.org.uk](mailto:helphub@mssociety.org.uk "mailto:helphub@mssociety.org.uk").
