Heat induced “TENS” Brain…

New symptom for me courtesy of the extreme weather conditions…

As ever, attempting to describe a specific symptom is like trying to describe the taste of chocolate, but here goes…

When the indoor temp hit 24C, on making any movement, I experience unpleasant sensations in my head…
It feels like electric shocks…

Imagine a TENS device strapped around your head which triggers every time you move…

Another description could be “Brain Cringe”…

That’s about as good a description as I can give…
There’s also a low level headache accompanying it…

I found a tepid shower gave temporary relief…

Around 23:00 the symptoms eased, but didn’t desist…

I’m able to (sort of) sleep for periods of 2-3hrs and the symptom is again reduced, but still present…

At time of tippy-tapping this the temp is 26C and…
“Uuunnnnnnngguh”
…it’s back full belt…:grimacing::+1:

Hi, yeh this extreme hot weather is unbearable for us MSers!

Suggestions; cool packs inserted into your clothing, stay out of sun (obvious) keep curtains closed windows open, place a bowl of iced water in front of a fan

Good news…today is cooler

Thank you for your advice…:smiley::+1:

Now, let me break that down…

“Cool Packs inserted into your clothing…”
Difficult… I’m only wearing a vest and shorts…
“Stay out of Sun…”
But Neuro told me “get out in sun for VitD boost”…
“Keep curtains closed”…
Err, I don’t have curtains…?
“Windows open”…
YES…! That I can do…! Oh, seems like I did it 3 days ago…
“Place bowl of iced water in front of fan…”
The hilarious chain of accidental destruction and chaos attempting that would invoke - even if I had a fan - would be worth filming and uploading to FailArmy on YT…:joy::+1:
