I had a fairly straightforward operation while living in another country and then moved back home a year later. The awkward part was the follow-up - my old notes were in a language my new GP could not read and it took a while to get the imaging transferred in a form anyone could use. Has anyone else moved countries mid-treatment? What did you do beforehand that you would repeat, and what would you insist on getting a copy of next time?
