I’d like to try Fampyra. I know I’ll have to pay for it myself. Can my GP prescribe it , or must it be a neurologist?

Johnh Fampyra can only be prescribed by a neurologist. I’m in the process of trying to arrange a trial for myself. Apparently Healthcare at home can arrange for 1 months free trial from the maker. Afterwards £180 per month. Suggest you have a look at posts in the primary progressive section - under fampyra dated 17th may and 21st April. Lots of info there. Best of luck Tony
