Not sure where to begin really, I’ve been with my BF for a year and a half, I’ve always known about his ms, he has relasping ms which is getting worse.

Besides the meds and physio he also works part time…

I can’t even begin to understand the pain he goes through on a daily basis, his mobility is getting worse, and now he’s wetting himself more frequently…

But it’s his mood swings that I find hard to deal with!

He can be quite nasty without realising it, when I tell him to stop he plays the wounded soldier and says i don’t understand!!

Is it selfish for me to angry and frustrated with him?

I said we needed a break away from each other as we were on a path to breaking up, he said no!

I really don’t know what to do or where to turn…

Any advice would be good…

Oh dear Lou!

This cruel condition has so much to answer for.

Your chap must be feeling so frustrated, when he cant be the guy he used to be.

If his RRMS is worsening, perhaps it is moving on to 2nd progressive MS. Does he regularly see his neuro or MS nurse? Sounds like he could benefit from a chat with one of them.

Most people who have a chronic condition do need the support of others, even though their feelings come out in a way they dont mean to.

If you fee you need a break from him, then maybe you feel unable to give him the support/patience/whatever he needs.

I feel sorry for you both.
