DVLA & Car Insurance, Notifying Them.

Hi all, new to the Forum.

Diagnosed near 13 years ago and i’m in my third relapse (1st after diagnosis).

Relapse/remitting and actually got to see the Neurologist last week (numbness in feet + tingling in hands), he said i was fine to drive after checking me out.

Symptoms appear to be diminishing but time will tell.

Been on the 3yr medical driving license since diagnosed, do i need to notify my car insurance and DVLA for this occurrence asap or just leave it until my next license renewal?

Any info appreciated.

I’d say there’s no need to report it. Your latest visit to Neuro will produce documentation that says effectively you’re safe to drive. Unless there are further, more significant and/or permanent changes, I would leave it until new licence. Insurer won’t be interested if DVSA is happy.
