Saw doc yesterday about severe lower back pain he suggested morphine patches has anyone had this form of medication or been told about it before?

Dennis.

Hya Dennis, I’ve heard of them but not used them. Post on Everyday Living, might get someone on there. Morphine is probably the best pain killer there is, so worth giving them a go.

Hope you’re doing ok,

Dennis,

Just google vitamin d3 deficiency lower back pain - and if you do not take a high dose vitd3 - then l would start if l was you. Your vitd3 level should be 150/225nmols.

There are some very helpful yoga exercises that help lower back pain - also you could ask your GP to refer you to an orthopaedic specialists for injections into the facet joints - l had it done some years ago - it was magic. Now l am taking 20.000ius daily of vitd3 and doing the exercises.

Hi Dennis

I have had really bad lower back pain before i was dx.

I went to see an osteopath. I walked into the room doubled over in pain and just after the first treatment i felt amazing relief.

I am not the sort of person to go to these places but it changed my opinion totally. I had 6 treatments in total and felt it was well worth the money to be able to stand upright without pain.

I would definately go back if i got these problems again. I was not expecting it to work as well as it did.

Sorry i dont know about the patches though.

Teresa. x
