DLVA have restricted my licence on a CIS

I had a neurological episode in January and was promptly diagnosed with ms by first neuro. I informed DVLA and car insurance as advised. Fully recovered by Feb. Fast forward to March new neuro said not enough evidence for MS at the moment and diagnosed me with a CIS. He wrote to the DVLA to say the same.

Rubbish day to day. Had a car accident this morning and got back from work to a letter from the DVLA saying because of my medical condition they have restricted my license to 3 years. I’m very cross right now and thinking about appealing. I was not aware a CIS is a notifiable condition?

I really don’t want ms stamped anywhere on my files until if and when I’m diagnosed :frowning:
