Discrimination at work - consequences for employeers

My dad showed me a newspaper article about a golf club in Norfolk which stands to lose thousands of pounds after a barmaid won a tribunal for constructive dismissal after her employer failed to make reasonable adjustments due to her diabetes. Hopefully I can post the link.


Just goes to show the consequences for employers when they fail to take a chronic condition into account. In the barmaid’s situation the line manager’s failure to make adjustments put her life at risk.
