Hi all, My Mum had MS and sadly passed away at the weekend. Prior to this she had been in a nursing home for 4 months, and so have recently been sorting her house out so it could be sold. Mum used to use a decompression chamber as at the time (I don’t know if it still it) it was the best form of treatment for her. She was travelling to Manchester for this, but when it became hard to drive, my Grandad bought her one so she could use it at home. Problem I have now is I don’t know what to do with it! I called the MS society but they only have me a number for a disability equipment list where you post an advert online - not heard anything! Does anyone know if I can donate it somewhere or what I can do with it? Thanks, Cat
Hi Cat, hello again love. Its a horrible task, sorting out your dear mum
s things, eh?
Hope you have someone to help you with it all.
I dont know where you could donate the machine, as it is probably a personal thing.
Sounds like it could be an expensive item. Hopefully someone else here, will come up with an answer for you.
much love, Pollyx

Sorry to hear about your loss.
The Multiple Sclerosis National Therapy Centres work alongside each of the Regional centres where people undertake HDOT treatment.
It may be worth approaching them to see if they can help either selling or donating it.
The centres may know if people who want a home unit.
take care
Neil
