Di Blasi trike and no proprioception in lower legs

Hi there; I have RRMS. I can’t ride a bicycle any more because of balance issues so I bought a Di Blasi trike which I’m delighted with. However, I don’t ride it because I have no proprioception in the lower half of my body and so can’t feel if my feet come off the pedals. I’ve even thought about using strong magnets to stick on my trainers (the pedals have metal toe clips). Perhaps I should think about footwear which might ‘stick’ to the pedals more effectively, allowing me to get out and about. Thoughts?

A google had this come up.

Maybe no use but ingenious.
I have proprioception problems from knees downwards too and it’s an awful nuisance not knowing much about what’s going on down there, isn’t it?

It might be worth asking in a bike shop for advice.
