I had a cataract opp on the 9th sept and as I was still
blurry after 2 weeks and my eye lid has dropped I went back to the clinic yesterday. After examination they told me I have a detached retina. I couldn’t believe it. In 2012 I also had a detached retina I my other eye. Everything I have done to me goes wrong! I could give you a list but I won’t. Having my opp on Friday really fed up😡
Anyone else had this?
Sorry to hear this.my son has just had an op for a detached retina he is blind in that eye too but they said it probaly stems from the accident that made him blind many years ago.his op went fine and he recoverd quickly too,hope your op goes as well.
Thank you. I’m not worried about having the opp as I said I had the same thing in the other eye in 2012.

I feel you. When I was younger if something broke I’d wait for 2 more to happen within a month. the 3 thing. Sometimes it’d start by me treating myself to something. Nowadays it’s worse as it doesn’t stop at 3 and not all within a month either. Had 2 Relapses since July 30th, Someone smashed the rear window on my car 2 days after the first relapse started. Still in the 2nd Relapse so that’s 3 in 2 months there. PC also broke, thankfully I had an old component I switched out…Bit difficult right now but I managed it so that’s 4.
Hoping that’s it but a 5th or 6th within the next few weeks won’t be surprising. Annoying but not suprising
