Afternoon all. Oh dear, had my 3rd mishap yesterday of the week. They say bad luck come in 3s dont they?, so please let that be it for me. Hubby had an appointment at tea time, so off he went leaving me to eat my chop, veggies, followed by vanilla yog with fruit. After eating, my bowels began arumbling! Oh no I thought, not now! I perfrmed an incredible feat of transferring from wheelie to commode by myself…using the hoist of course. I got in a right old pickle. The ant tip wheels of my wheelie got entanged with my nightbag stand. They wrestled together like Big Daddy and Mick McManus…half nelson style. I swung to fro twixt both trollies and finally goti n the right place, but too late…the deed was done…it took an age to sort out, and incuded me ripping my leggings off me. Hubby came in clutching fish and cips and wondered how the chuff I`d got to where I was! He ate his meal and then put me to bed just before 7…in time for Emmerdale, so that cant be too bad, eh? What a week of mishaps; bladder by-passed my spc, and flooded cup of hot tea emptied its on my neck chest last nigh`s mess Innit a life, eh? Fed up! luv Pollx ---

Oh Poll, not surprised you are fed up. Mind you, I have to say you have such an amusing way of writing about these mishaps, (“Big Daddy and Mick McManus”), it’s hard not to smile when you read what happened. I do feel for you though, it’s been a week and a half hasn’t it? Faith ---

I am glad you are ok. Let’s hope that is the 3 things - next time they should let you catch up with yourself before the next. I must go to sleep. Let’s hope for a good day tomorrow. Oh Poll You’re right, bad luck does come in 3s but at least you always have your sense of humour to fall back on. Wel, they say bad luck comes in 3s…but I had a 4th yesterday. Whilst getting back indoors from my outing (nice it was too), I found my wee bag loose under my coat…and I was wet through…how it came adrift I have no idea…so my carer had to sort me out and yes, early bath and bed…again! what the chuff is going on? ta for your replies kids. luv Pollx ---
